LIPOSUCTION AND SKIN EXCISION OF THE ABDOMEN WITH PRESERVATION OF OWN BELLY-BUTTON

Liposuction and skin excision surgery is a procedure to remove excess fatty tissue from the upper, middle, and lower abdomen and to remove excess skin from below the belly-button while preserving your own belly-button.   This Technique does not require general anesthesia thus reducing the risks of the procedure.

There are variety of different techniques used by surgeons for cosmetic surgery of the abdomen.  Abdominoplasty is the name given to the s traditional  surgery that eliminates excess skin and tightens the muscles of the belly, most of the time creating a new belly-button.  During traditional abdominaplasty  surgery, not much liposuction  can be performed on the anterior abdominal wall skin because the surgery itself cuts the blood supply and nutrition to the skin.   Once the blood supply has been cut, performing liposuction to the same skin area would put the skin at risk of poor healing and scarring. 

The result of traditional abdominoplasty is thus limited by the fact that not much liposuction can be performed on this belly skin, leaving you with a thick abdominal wall skin flap.
